Hands-On Pet First Aid Course (In Person)

Emergencies can happen anywhere — do you know what to do?
This hands-on, in-person Pet First Aid Course teaches you how to recognize and respond to the most common emergencies involving dogs and cats. From choking and bleeding to poisoning and seizures, you’ll leave with the knowledge to act fast and stay calm until help arrives.

• How to build and use a Pet First Aid Kit

• Dog & cat CPR and artificial respiration

• Handling bleeding, shock, choking, seizures, and more

• How to safely restrain and transport an injured pet

• Recognizing early warning signs of illness or injury

• What to do (and not do) before you get to the vet

• 8+ hours of in-person instruction

• Hands-on practice using pet mannequins

• Printed Pet First Aid reference guide

• Pet First Aid Kit checklist

• Certificate of completion

• Q&A time with your instructor
