The drive is worth it — here's why.
We don't apologize for being a destination. When you see the difference in your dog after their first week at PAWS, you'll understand exactly why families from Airdrie to Okotoks drive past closer options to come here.
Structured Socialization
Most daycares are controlled chaos — large groups, minimal oversight, no structure. At PAWS, every dog is in a small playgroup matched by size, energy level, and temperament. Pack leaders actively manage the social dynamics throughout the day. Your dog doesn't just survive daycare — they learn, develop, and genuinely thrive.
Kennel-Free, All Day
No kennels. No crates. No "rest period" that's really just dogs locked in runs. At PAWS, dogs roam freely in open supervised spaces from the moment they arrive to the moment you pick them up. Downtime is structured — it involves calm, rest, and enrichment, not confinement. It's a real difference that dogs feel, and owners notice.
Daily Adventure Pack Walks
Every dog at PAWS goes on a 45–60 minute outdoor pack walk through Calgary's parks and pathways — every single day, included in the daycare rate. This isn't a bonus or an add-on. It's built into the PAWS program because physical exercise and mental stimulation together are what actually tired dogs need. You'll notice the difference the moment your dog gets home.
