Request an Intro Day in Calgary
Start with an Intro Day to assess whether group daycare suits your dog. Staff supervise introductions, walks and play, then discuss how the day went with you.
Before you request an Intro Day
A quick check for your dog, your schedule and your first visit.
Weekdays only
7 am–7 pm · Closed weekends & statutory holidays.
General drop-off is by 10 am. Your Intro Day may have a different arrival window; check your request.
Comfortable with other dogs?
Kennel-free care means group play.
If your dog is fearful, has snapped or needs behavioural support, they start with an initial assessment call: call us to set it up; behavioural support may have different pricing.
Plan for pickup at 3–4 pm
The 3–4 pm window is strongly recommended, not a mandatory cutoff. It gives us more time to discuss the day and answer your questions before the pickup rush.
Pickup until 7 pm is available if needed, but we discourage such a long first day.
Have vaccination records ready
Core vaccines (DHPP) and Rabies required. Bordetella strongly recommended.
Read the first-day guide: puppy requirements, intake & what to bringA request first. Staff confirmation next.
For dogs comfortable in group play. Dogs with behavioural concerns skip these steps and start with the assessment call above; mention any concerns in the Intro questions and we will call you.

Vaccinations
We keep everyone healthy by requiring up-to-date CORE vaccines (distemper, hepatitis, parvovirus, parainfluenza) and Rabies. Bordetella is strongly recommended every 6–12 months. Puppies are welcome from 12 weeks with at least 2 sets of DHPP or a letter from their vet.
Spay & Neuter
For the safety and comfort of all our dogs, dogs over 1 year must be spayed or neutered.
Extra Support
Every dog is different, and some need a little extra care. We work with a limited number of dogs who need behavioral support through our dedicated socialization program. Not sure if your dog is ready for group daycare? Give us a call at (403) 984-9247 to discuss whether support is suitable and available for your dog.
What Your Dog's Day Looks Like
We welcome one new dog per day. Staff supervise introductions and observe your dog's comfort with the group. Every dog adjusts at their own pace; this is a typical day.
- Morning
Pack walk. The day starts with a supervised group walk. Staff observe how your dog responds to the group.
- Daytime
Supervised play. Structured Socialization: one pack of all sizes, led by our pack leaders, who monitor body language and adjust play as needed.
- Afternoon
Rest. Quiet downtime to recharge — rest breaks are part of the day alongside walks and play.
- 3:00 – 4:00 PM
Pickup & report card. We recommend collecting first-day pups now, before the evening rush, so we can walk you through how the day went and answer your questions. Pickup until 7 pm is available if needed, but we do not recommend such a long first day.
