Can you tell us a bit about your dog and their personality?

Lanny can be shy and nervous around new people, but once a person has earned his trust then he’s the absolute sweetest. He prefers a good bum scratch over a pat on his head and will usually make sure to angle and let you know. He’s very athletic and loves frisbee, hiking and just being outdoors. This makes him a great hiking or adventure buddy.

What do you and your dog enjoy most about our dog daycare?

The chance for him to get socialize with other dogs and the comfort in knowing he’s being well cared for during the day. It’s especially great when the weather is less than ideal and the dogs are split into smaller play groups.

Having that safe space to play indoors is such a great alternative. After a day at daycare he’s usually pretty tired, which tells me that he’s getting more than enough physical and mental stimulation.

How has your dog benefited from attending our daycare?

Lanny has been going to Paws since he was a puppy, so almost 5 years now. Having always been a nervous dog, I think he’s benefited tremendously from the socialization and interactions with all the other dogs, but also from the daycare staff.
 
As a result he’s much more comfortable with strangers. I also know how much he loves the staff by his reaction on the odd time that we have run into a daycare staff member outside of Paws.

Is there a memorable experience or moment that stands out during your dog's time at our daycare?

There was one story on Instagram of Lanny and another dog where the post said the 2 dogs should date. Lanny just looked so smitten and happy in his interaction that it made my heart melt.
